A Week (or a few) -7

It's snowed significantly in Detroit. Poor Vancouver.

Inside the Walter B. Ford building - the location of most foundation classes.

Snowy Detroit at night.

Palm sales have been... well, low, but I truly believe that WebOS is the most innovative smartphone OS in the market today. Hopefully Palm will introduce some more exciting hardware.

Porche Design + Adidas

Good Year + Adidas

Was never interested in True Religion, but these high top sneakers were sweet.

My friend, Hoang Dang's awesome Lego train.

And Dang and I built this crazy sphere out of used up pencils.

Greek Town, Detroit.

The new HTC MyTouch, Fender edition. Fender cannot hide the fact that the phone is outdated.

Love US Postal Service boxes.

Sketches - 1

I always get requests to put up some of my sketches but I have never had a chance to do so. The robots were done over the weekend, and most of the products from the past week.

Water Vessel

This is my first project for my semster 2, freshman product design II studio class at CCS.

The premise of the project was to design a completely form based "water vessel".

Though it was not the goal of the project I did add a cultural aspect to the vessel. In many cultures, it is proper manners to serve drinks to someone older with two hands. The physical design of the vessel makes it easier to do this.

The hole also enables easy transport.

Seotaiji

Seotaiji is a legendary Korean musician and is someone that has constantly inspired me. His music style is very hard to judge as he constantly reinvents his music. The themes of his music are very skeptical, political and has always had an impact in society.

This is a DVD collection of his concerts and music videos produced during his 7th album in 2004.

Opens up, revealing a photo book.

And three DVD's.

Being such an influential artist, he put together the "Great Seotaiji Symphony" with Tolga Kashif and the London Royal Philharmonic in 2009. Here is a sample:

The CD release of the concert.

Two disks and a photo book.

Here are some of my favorite songs:
